UCR courts fill up fast. As a club member, you get access to our reserved courts — just bring your R'Card and you're on.
This is where the competitive in our name comes in. We compete against other campus clubs and colleges — form a team with other members and compete. No team, no tourney.
For our competitive players, we're implementing a club DUPR so you have an official rating. Track your progress, know where you stack up, and have something real to compete for.
We've got balls covered — just show up ready to play. For paddles, the SRC loans them out for free with your R'Card.
Do I need to be good at pickleball to join?
Not at all. Although we have a great competitive aspect to the club we also have beginner-friendly sessions specifically designed for new players.
Is membership really free?
Yes — free for all currently enrolled UCR students. Some tournament fees may apply.
Do I need my own paddle?
No we personally do not. The amazing SRC does loan out paddles FOR FREE as long as you have your SID! You'll want your own eventually, but don't let that stop you from coming out.
Can graduate students or faculty join?
Our membership is primarily for undergrad and graduate students. Reach out and we'll figure something out.
